The top layer of asphalt is removed from the Pskov – Piskovichi road

Workers have started milling the Pskov–Piskovichi road. This was announced on Tuesday, July 15, by the press service of the Pskov Dead Roads movement on the VKontakte social network.

The top layer of asphalt is being removed so far only up to the border of the regional capital. Until 2025, the Pskov– Piskovichi-Murovitsy highway section was under the control of Pskovavtodor.

Then the road passed under the jurisdiction of the administration of the rural settlement "Piskovichskaya volost". Since then, pit repairs have been carried out and an estimate has been made for the replacement of asphalt, but the budget did not provide for a new road surface.

As noted by the Pskov news feed, the administration of the Pskov region appealed to the regional government with a request for additional funding for road construction in 2025.

At the end of June, it was reported that the asphalt laying on the reconstructed bridge over the Lazavitsa River was completed in Velikiye Luki. The engineering building is located on Gagarin Avenue.
