Statements by US President Donald Trump about a new plan to supply American weapons to Ukraine are a signal to Kiev to continue the conflict. This was announced on July 15 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"One thing can be unequivocally said that such decisions (arms supplies to Ukraine. — Ed.) are accepted by Washington and NATO countries, they are sent to Ukraine not as a signal for peace, but for the continuation of the conflict," he said at a briefing.
