In Zelenograd, a man threw four chinchillas from the third floor

A man in a state of alcoholic intoxication in Zelenograd threw chinchillas from the third floor, who bit him while feeding. This was announced on July 15 by the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office.

"In a rage, he killed and maimed his pets: a 49-year-old man accused of cruelty to animals, resulting in their mutilation and death, will appear in court (paragraph "d" of part 2 of Article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the message posted on the Telegram channel says.

According to the prosecutor's office, the incident occurred on March 31 while feeding rodents. The chinchillas bit the man, after which he got angry, took the animals out of the cage, went out onto the balcony and threw them from the third floor. As a result, two of them died and two more were injured.

It is specified that the suspect fully admitted his guilt. The criminal case will be sent to the court for consideration on the merits.

On April 1, law enforcement agencies opened a criminal case against a 40-year-old resident of Moscow who threw his cat from the fourth floor. According to the prosecutor's office, at about 00:30 on March 30, the accused, out of hooligan motives, threw the animal out of the window of his apartment on 2nd Maryina Roscha Street.
