Sobyanin noted the record interest in the Active Citizen project
The Moscow digital project "Active Citizen" marked a new record: citizens took part in 7 thousand votes and left more than 300 million opinions. Such data was provided by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
"Without exaggeration, the Active Citizen project is the heart of the capital's digital ecosystem. More than 7.2 million people have already joined it," Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel.
In particular, thanks to the activity of Muscovites, the Bolshaya Koltsevaya Metro Line was built and the Moscow Central Diameters were launched. In addition, as a result of the appeals, patients had access to electronic medical records, 500 public spaces were equipped, and over a million trees and shrubs were planted, the mayor said.
"Thank you to each participant for their attention and caring attitude towards the development of our beloved city! Let's solve important urban issues together and make our city the best!" wrote Sobyanin.
The Active Citizen project started 11 years ago. Initially, it was a voting platform, but later it turned into a multifunctional platform where participants can propose their own ideas for the development of the city. Every month, the capital implements 30-40 decisions supported by Muscovites, the mayor noted earlier.
