Investigators have opened a criminal case into the poisoning of graduates of a university in Yekaterinburg in a cafe. This was reported on July 15 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk region.
"A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Article 236 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules")," the Telegram channel says.
The ministry noted that all the circumstances and causes of the incident are currently being established.
Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk region reported that 12 people were hospitalized in Yekaterinburg after being poisoned at the local cafe Versailles. It was noted that according to the results of the tests, salmonellosis was confirmed in the laboratory.
