British man accused of having ties to Russia confessed to working for Israel
British Howard Michael Phillips, who was charged with violating the National Security Act due to alleged possible ties with Russia, said he acted in the interests of Israel. This was reported on July 15 by The Guardian newspaper.
"I thought to myself that if I could expose the agent, then I would be able to pass on this (information. — Ed.) to the Israelis and thereby benefit the Israelis. Because then the media will be forced to write that Israel helped Britain," he said.
