The ambassador said about the intimidation of Russian diplomats in Denmark
On July 15, Russian Ambassador to Copenhagen Vladimir Barbin announced the intimidation of diplomats in Denmark and the "dissemination of insinuations against them."
As the Ambassador pointed out, there are cases of illegal entry into their apartments, insults and direct threats.
"Normal diplomatic work is currently impossible in Denmark," Barbin said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He also pointed out that "the embassy is being isolated by the Danish authorities."
Barbin noted that the Danish authorities are pursuing a policy of zeroing out any cooperation with Russia, and the contacts of the Russian embassy with the authorities are limited to practical issues.
"They mostly come down to discussing practical issues of the functioning of the diplomatic missions of our countries, protecting the rights of compatriots, as well as mutual demarches," Barbin added.
The day before, Barbil said that the Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea is being used as a NATO outpost against Russia. At the same time, he noted that the Russian side had never had aggressive intentions towards Denmark.
