- FPV drone operators destroyed the Ukrainian Armed Forces dugout in the Zaporizhia region
The calculation of FPV drones of the 42nd Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed a fortified dugout of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on July 15.
The ministry clarified that the operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) discovered a camouflaged dugout of Ukrainian militants, which could be used to shelter personnel during aerial reconnaissance.
The goal was achieved thanks to the high professionalism of the operators. A direct hit led to the ignition of the bunker and the elimination of the enemy personnel stationed there.
"With the advent of zelenka (this is how the forest is designated by the military of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. — Ed.), in principle, the enemy cannot advance to a distance of more than 500 m, because he necessarily goes out into the open somewhere and, accordingly, he is noticed," said the head of the UAV calculation with the call sign Berlin.
Military personnel of the 42nd Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the Dnepr group of forces actively use FPV drones to perform combat missions and demonstrate high efficiency and professionalism in the area of a special military operation.
On July 14, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the village of Malinovka in the Zaporizhia region had been liberated by soldiers of the 5th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of Forces. Artillery crews and operators of attack UAVs also participated in this operation and provided support.
