The death toll from the collapse of the cornice of an apartment building in the center of Tbilisi has increased to two. This was reported on July 15 by the Rustavi 2 TV channel with reference to the country's emergency management service.

"As a result of the collapse, two people were killed, one was injured and was taken to a medical facility for emergency treatment," the publication says.

It is noted that at present, a search and rescue operation has been completed in the area where the incident occurred, in which heavy equipment was involved in addition to personnel.
