Poland pointed to Ukraine's irrational use of Patriot systems
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reacted irrationally to the use of Patriot anti-aircraft missiles, and therefore they are now completely dependent on US supplies. This was announced on Monday, July 14, by the Wirtualna Polska portal.
"The Ukrainians used Patriot from the very beginning, using more missiles than would be possible based on the situation," the portal quotes Andrzej Kinski, editor—in-chief of the monthly Wojsko i Technika.
The publication also noted that as a result, Ukraine is doomed to depend on the location of the United States and the "fickle policies" of American leader Donald Trump, for whom the problems of Europe are far from such a priority as "Taiwan, Israel and the general situation in the Middle East."
On July 8, The Guardian newspaper reported that the United States had 25% of its Patriot missile defense stocks left, after the accumulated ammunition in the Middle East had been completely used up in recent months. It clarifies that this could jeopardize potential US military operations.
