- The head of the HRC pointed out the need for the return of oral and translation exams
Chairman of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights (HRC) Valery Fadeev, during a press conference dedicated to the implementation of the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin to protect teachers and introduce new grades in schools, expressed the opinion that it is important to return transferable and oral exams to schools.
"I think exams are very important, exams are part of the learning process, and the assessment for exams is very important. Moreover, oral exams are important... On the oral exam, it is immediately clear whether a young man, a schoolboy or a student understands or does not understand," said Fadeev, quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to him, it is necessary to look for a form of returning oral and transfer exams. The head of the HRC also drew attention to the fact that many parents do not approve of the return of such forms of exams due to the workload of students.
"A lot of experts say that it would be necessary to revise the programs in the main subjects. It seems that quite a lot of excess has accumulated there, and this is also a question for specialists," Fadeev added.
On June 6, the head of Rosobrnadzor, Anzor Muzaev, said that this year the unified State Exam (USE) was held at a high level, and no serious violations were detected. Muzayev also noted that this year's Unified State Exam was held in accordance with the regular regime. There were no leaks of materials or human rights violations.
