Multinational NATO exercises Agile Spirit 2025 will be held in Georgia from July 25 to August 6. This was announced on Monday, July 14, according to the website of the country's Ministry of Defense.
"The Agile Spirit 2025 exercises planned in Georgia will be conducted jointly by the Western Command of the Georgian Defense Forces and the US National Guard," the statement said.
It is specified that the main elements of the maneuvers will be a command and staff unit, a Georgian-American tactical convoy on the Senaki—Vaziani highway section and live firing training.
Military personnel from Georgia, the United States, Turkey, Poland, Germany, Italy, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Lithuania and Ukraine will take part in the maneuvers. Representatives of Armenia and Japan have been announced as observers.
In addition, armored vehicles and aircraft of the US and Turkish armies, including UH 60 Black Hawk and Puma AS332 helicopters, will be involved in the exercises.
Earlier, on June 27, the NATO Dynamic Messenger exercises ended in Finland. Their goal was to work out joint tactics in the air of the air forces of Finland, the United States, France and Great Britain. More than 40 aircraft took part in the maneuvers, including the NATO RQ-4D Phoenix reconnaissance drones that arrived in the country for the first time.
