Yerevan denied plans to transfer the Zangezur corridor to the control of the United States

Armenia does not intend to transfer control over the Zangezur corridor to third countries, including the United States. This was stated on July 14 by the press secretary of the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, in an interview with the "Armenpress" agency.

"The Republic of Armenia has not discussed and is not discussing outsourcing the management of its sovereign territory to a third party. No part of the territory of the Republic of Armenia can be outside the territorial integrity, sovereignty or jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia," she said.
