A criminal case has been opened against the correspondent of the online publication Medusa (recognized as a foreign agent and an undesirable organization in the Russian Federation) Dmitry Kuznets (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation), the reason was his cooperation with the publication. This was reported on July 14 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia.

"So, in February, March and April 2025, six audio recordings with the participation of the Blacksmith were published on the Internet, in which he distributed information materials about the economic, political and social processes taking place in the Russian Federation," the department's Telegram channel says.
The investigation is considering whether to put the suspect on the wanted list. He faces up to four years in prison.
On July 9, the court arrested Galina Timchenko, the founder of Medusa, in absentia (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) for two months. It is noted that the measure of restraint will take effect from the moment of extradition to the territory of the Russian Federation, or from the moment of her detention on the territory of the Russian Federation.
