The Ministry of Emergency Situations expects an increase in water levels on the rivers of the Khabarovsk Territory

In Khabarovsk, there is a possibility of sudden rises in water levels on the rivers of the Verkhnebureinsky district. In the period from July 14 to July 15, an increase of 1.5 – 2.0 m is possible.

Flooding of small rivers is also possible, including where there are no hydrological observations, with the movement of unfavorable phenomenon marks. These are the data from the Far Eastern UGMS.

Due to precipitation in the northern regions of the region, water levels on the Bureya River near the village of Ust-Niman may rise to 820-860 cm (the value of the adverse event is 850 cm). Low-lying areas, household plots, and road sections are at risk of entering the flood zone.
