In Khabarovsk, there is a possibility of sudden rises in water levels on the rivers of the Verkhnebureinsky district. In the period from July 14 to July 15, an increase of 1.5 – 2.0 m is possible.

Flooding of small rivers is also possible, including where there are no hydrological observations, with the movement of unfavorable phenomenon marks. These are the data from the Far Eastern UGMS.

Due to precipitation in the northern regions of the region, water levels on the Bureya River near the village of Ust-Niman may rise to 820-860 cm (the value of the adverse event is 850 cm). Low-lying areas, household plots, and road sections are at risk of entering the flood zone.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region urged residents to observe safety measures during the flood, IA AmurMedia writes.

Earlier, on July 7, it was reported that floods and landslides in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh killed at least 78 people, 37 more are missing. Himachal Pradesh was in the epicenter of a natural disaster — floods, landslides and heavy rains caused damage worth billions of rupees. The destruction of 2025 has already been compared to the disaster of 2023, when more than 400 people died.
