The United States is ready to take over the management of the planned Zangezur corridor between Armenia and Azerbaijan if it helps to advance the stalled negotiations between the republics. This was announced on July 14 by the United States Ambassador to Turkey, Tom Barrack.

"They are arguing over 32 km of road, but it is not a trifle. It has been dragging on for 10 years now — 32 km of road," the Middle East Eye edition quotes him as saying.
