A criminal case was opened after the Mi-8 helicopter went missing in the Khabarovsk Territory.

In connection with the incident with the Mi-8 helicopter in the Khabarovsk Territory, a criminal case has been opened on violation of the safety and operation rules of the aircraft, resulting in the death of two or more persons. This was reported on July 14 in the press service of the Eastern Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"There were five people on board the aircraft. The vessel's location has not been established, search and rescue operations are underway," the department's Telegram channel says.
