Two men and a woman suspected of kidnapping and unlawfully depriving a person of their liberty were detained in the Moscow region. This was announced on July 14 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region.

According to law enforcement agencies, intruders in the village of Korenki beat a 47-year-old employee of their farm, then took him to a farming community in Solnechnogorsk city district, where they tied him up and held him on a chain in a utility room, extorting money.

"Taking advantage of the absence of the owners of the farm, the victim was able to escape and contact the police. The offenders have been taken to the investigative authorities," the agency's Telegram channel says.

Earlier that day, the 78 TV channel reported that in the city of Murino, Leningrad region, unidentified men posed as police officers and abducted a man. It was clarified that the attackers took the man away by car in an unknown direction. According to the newspaper, the car was later found in the village of Korabselki, but it was not possible to detain the suspects.
