Putin pointed to the growing interest in working professions among Russians
The number of young people who seek to devote themselves to working professions in the future is growing. This was announced on July 14 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting on social issues.
"As for early career guidance, this is an issue that is constantly in our field of view, too. And there are already definite results. The number of young people who seek to devote themselves to working professions in the future is growing, and enrollment in these educational institutions is growing. So in general, I think we are on the right track, as they say," Putin said during the meeting.
Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, also noted during the conversation that the current labor market is focused on the younger generation. According to him, within the framework of the national Cadres project, specialists will accompany the younger generation from their student days and select employers and mentors in production.
The Minister stressed that such a measure is currently being implemented as part of 11 pilot projects in Russia, and from September 1, such a personal support program will be implemented throughout the country.
On the same day, Putin noted the rapid development of digitalization in healthcare in the Russian Federation. He also stressed that 900 million medical documents can be obtained electronically.
