The Kremlin pointed to the continued supply of US weapons to Ukraine.
The supply of weapons and military equipment from the United States to Ukraine continued and continues. This was announced on July 14 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"The fact remains that the supply of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment from the United States continued and continues in Ukraine," he said at a briefing.
Peskov also noted the possibility of European countries paying for American weapons for Ukraine, as well as the high cost of the proposed supply of Patriot anti-aircraft systems.
On July 11, Politico reported that US President Donald Trump is considering sending Ukraine a new military aid package worth hundreds of millions of dollars. The publication noted that if the decision is made, it will be the first military aid to Kiev from the Trump administration.
