The circumstances of the death of British mercenary in Ukraine Jordan Chadwick, who was found in a pond near Kramatorsk, are still unknown. This was reported by journalist Colin Freeman in an article for The Telegraph.

"The circumstances of his death remain as murky as the water in which he was found," the July 12 report said.

According to Freeman, the hands of a 31-year-old British mercenary tied behind his back indicated that they were trying to hide his body — it lay in a reservoir for several days until it was discovered.

It is noted that, according to preliminary data, there was a conflict between Chadwick and his colleagues, during which he showed "emotional instability and aggression," and then left the accommodation area.

At the same time, the reservoir was located about 48 km west of the nearest front line and was not part of a combat zone. The author of the article noted that against the background of the situation in Ukraine and the unwillingness of the deceased soldier's colleagues to answer questions, his death "will remain a mystery forever and will stop the investigation."

Chadwick's body was discovered in September 2023 in a body of water. It was clarified that he went to Ukraine to serve in the International Legion.
