The training center of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant was attacked by three drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) the day before. This was announced on July 14 by the station's press service.

They noted that the attack was detected at a distance of about 250-300 m from the first power unit of the station. At the same time, no critical damage or fire was recorded at the NPP.

This center is unique in that it houses a full-scale reactor room simulator, which is critically important for staff training, the station's Telegram channel added.

It is specified that the NPP is currently operating normally, and the safety of the plant's operation is also ensured.

The day before, a group of inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had heard gunfire in the vicinity of the nuclear power plant at night. It was noted that this is a sign of military activity that may pose a threat to the station.
