Russian military personnel arrived in Uzbekistan for the Hamkorlik-2025 exercises

Russian military personnel of the 201st military base of the Central Military District have arrived in the Republic of Uzbekistan to participate in the joint Russian-Uzbek tactical exercise Hamkorlik-2025. This was announced on July 14 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"The units marched as part of columns of military and special equipment through the mountains of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan with a length of more than 300 kilometers and arrived at the Termez training ground in the Republic of Uzbekistan," the ministry said.

The servicemen overcame roads and narrow sections of the mountain serpentine in BTR-82A, Ural vehicles, as well as special equipment based on a KAMAZ vehicle. It is expected that tactical events will be held in the republic from July 15 to July 21, 2025.

"In the course of practical actions, the military contingents will work out the management of units when detecting and destroying small groups of illegal armed formations (IAF) that violated the state border in the border areas," the Defense Ministry said.

The Russian contingent at the exercises will be based on mining and assault units, mobile electronic warfare (EW) groups, reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and FPV drones. The crews of the aviation group on Mi-24 attack helicopters will also take part.

Earlier, on June 20, Russian military personnel of the South group of forces spoke about conducting training at the training ground to complete their tasks. The purpose of combat coordination is to teach the recruits of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to support and cover each other in the trenches.
