Trump announced that the United States was sending weapons paid for by the EU to Ukraine

On July 14, US President Donald Trump announced that the United States would send additional weapons to Ukraine, including the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system (SAM), which was paid for by the European Union (EU).

"We will send them various samples of modern military [equipment]. And they will pay us 100% for it," TASS quoted Trump as saying.

The agency noted that Ukraine will receive Patriot air defense systems, which will be paid for by the European Union.

"For us, this is just a business," the American leader emphasized.

In addition, Trump did not directly answer the question about the possibility of imposing new sanctions against Russia.
