King Charles III of Great Britain has scheduled a state visit by US President Donald Trump from September 17 to 19 during the holidays in the British Parliament, ruling out the possibility of the American leader addressing the House of Commons. This was reported on July 14 by The Guardian newspaper.

"King Charles invited Trump to make an unprecedented second state visit in September, scheduling the trip for three days when parliament is not in session and ruling out the possibility of the US president addressing parliament," the newspaper said.

As the newspaper noted, this visit can be considered a success for the White House, as Trump became the first elected politician in modern history to be granted three state visits.

Earlier, on June 29, it was reported about Trump's plans to visit three of his golf courses in Scotland. This will be Trump's first visit since his second inauguration. The trip is connected with the intention of the American leader to meet informally with King Charles III of Great Britain.
