In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a two-year-old girl was injured as a result of being hit by a car. This was announced on July 14 by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the Sakhalin region.

"A 30-year-old driver, driving a Toyota Premio car, driving inside the courtyard, ran over a two—year-old girl who ran out from behind a parked car," the publication says.

It is reported that as a result of the incident, the victim received bodily injuries. An investigation is underway into the incident.
