The doctor also noted that the berry is rich in potassium, which is able to normalize blood pressure. The content of antioxidants helps strengthen the walls of blood vessels and reduce the risk of atherosclerosis.
According to the nutritionist, red currants can be eaten to prevent thrombosis, constipation, and accumulation of toxic substances in the body. In addition, red currant helps in the prevention of anemia.
