In Vladivostok, police officers detained members of an organized criminal group (OCG) who were engaged in drug trafficking on the darknet. This was announced on July 14 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Primorsky Territory in its Telegram channel.
"As a result of operational search measures, employees of the Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Primorsky Territory detained members of an organized criminal group: 31-year-old and 29—year-old residents of Vladivostok, suspected of distributing narcotic drugs," the report said.
According to the investigation, 250 grams of MDMA and 150 grams of mephedrone, as well as 6 thousand Zip Lock packages, four electronic scales and 10 rolls of electrical tape were seized during the search of drug dealers.
A criminal case was opened on the fact of the crime under Part 3 of Article 30 ("Attempted crime") and Part 4 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, as well as illegal sale or transfer of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, or their parts containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances").
Earlier, on June 16, more than 8.5 kg of heroin was seized from an organized crime group in Primorye. The suspects were taken into custody.
