As a result of the power outage due to the storm, 195 settlements remain without electricity in the Novgorod region. This was announced on July 13 by the acting governor of the region, Alexander Dronov, in the Telegram channel.

"As of 22:00 (local time, coincides with Moscow time. There are 195 settlements without electricity supply, in which 3,496 people live," he said.

It is noted that emergency recovery work continues.

On July 10, several districts of the Novgorod region, where more than 14 thousand people live, were left without electricity due to thunderstorms, heavy rains and strong winds. Due to the incident, the Novgorod branch of PJSC ROSSETI North-West switched to a special mode of operation.
