During takeoff at Southend Airport in the southeastern United Kingdom, a small plane crashed and caught fire immediately after takeoff. This was reported on July 13 by The Independent newspaper.

"The crashed aircraft was a Beech B200 Super King Air medical transport aircraft," the statement said.

Emergency services are on site. At the moment, there is no information about how many people were on board the twin-engine turboprop aircraft. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.

A Cessna 441 light-engine aircraft crashed on June 30 near the village of Howland in Trumbull County, Ohio. All six people on board, including two crew members and four passengers, were killed.
