Five policemen were injured by a grenade explosion in the Kiev region while trying to neutralize a criminal. This was reported on July 13 in the Telegram channel of the National police of Ukraine.

Law enforcement officers responded to a call in the village of Mikhaylovka-Rubezhovka, where a 41-year-old man threatened his family with a grenade and firearms. When he saw the police arrive, he threw a grenade at them.

Police officers fired shots at the attacker in response, and the perpetrator died at the scene. At the same time, five policemen were injured by a grenade explosion.
