The Russian Defense Ministry has released footage of the liberation of the village of Karl Marx in the DPR

Units of the Vostok group of forces liberated the village of Karl Marx in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). Footage of the fighting for the settlement was published on July 12 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

During the operation, the Russian military managed to liberate the Karl Marx settlement, located on one of the fortified defense sites of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Yuzhnodonetsky direction. Units of the Russian Army took a support area up to 2.3 km deep and about 2 km along the front.

During the fighting, the Russian Armed Forces cleared more than 400 buildings and destroyed over a company of personnel from the 141st separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the liberation of the village, the soldiers set up flags in various parts of the village.

The stormtroopers were supported by tanks with non-standard drone protection.

Earlier that day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the liberation of the settlements of Karl Marx and Nikolaevka in the DPR. The military attacked the brigades of unmanned systems, defense forces, and the National Guard.
