Pushilin took part in the opening of two police departments in the DPR
In the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), two restored Interior Ministry departments were opened in Volnovakha and Mangush. This was announced on July 12 by the head of the region Denis Pushilin, who attended the opening ceremony.
"Two restored departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia were opened in Volnovakha and Mangush together with the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Donetsk People's Republic, Police Lieutenant General Pavel Gishchenko," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
According to Pushilin, the Volnovakhsky department will ensure order in 67 settlements. To do this, it was completely restored, equipped with the necessary equipment and official vehicles.
The head of the region added that the work was carried out as part of a special infrastructure project thanks to the assistance of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. He noted that the new departments have created comfortable working conditions for police officers.
At the opening ceremony, state awards were presented to distinguished employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They received the medal "For Bravery". Pushilin noted that many police officers participated in the liberation of Donbass, risking their lives. Some of them died, and their memory and feat will always be honored.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on June 30 that the Russian authorities were assessing the situation in each new region and monitoring how key projects were being implemented. At the meeting, Putin suggested discussing the need for additional measures to support the new regions and stressed that 41 federal agencies, 26 state-owned companies and 82 regional bosses were providing assistance in their development.
