Three people, including a child, were killed in an accident with heavy trucks in the Irkutsk region. This was announced on July 13 by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region in its Telegram channel.

"The traffic incident occurred today at 12:15 p.m. on the 1377th km of the highway R-255 "Siberia" in the area of P. Voznesensky Nizhneudinsky district," the message says.

According to preliminary information, the Kia Rio driver, while overtaking a DAF truck, collided first with him, and then with a Dongfeng heavy truck moving in the opposite direction, because he lost control of the car.

As a result of the accident, the driver and two passengers of a Kia Rio car, including a minor child, were killed. It is specified that the drivers of heavy trucks were not injured.

At the moment, law enforcement officers are identifying the victims.
