The Dome of Donbass system intercepted 694 Ukrainian drones over the DPR in a week.

The Dome of Donbass airspace protection and electronic warfare system intercepted 694 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during the week over the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was reported on July 6 in the regional directorate of the FSB of Russia.

It is specified that 300 drones were eliminated over Donetsk and Makeyevka, and 394 Ukrainian drones were eliminated over Horlivka.

In addition, Ukrainian militants attempted to attack the Donetsk Machine-building Plant using the Chaklun unmanned aerial vehicle, the design of which included an improvised explosive device with an integrated detonation mechanism.

Also, on the outskirts of Makeyevka, an unmanned aerial vehicle of the multirotor type FPV drone was intercepted, which tried to attack private homes of local residents. In addition, in Gorlovka, UAV operators prevented a terrorist attack by destroying a VECTOR aircraft—type drone carrier for FPV copters, which planned to deliver small attack drones for further attacks on civilians.

Explosives experts from the regional directorate of the FSB of Russia worked at the crash sites of the suppressed drones. All dangerous devices and parts of the drones were seized and destroyed.
