Two people died as a result of a fire in the Chelyabinsk region.
In the village of Fershampenoise, Chelyabinsk region, two people died as a result of a two-story house fire. This was announced on July 13 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the region in its Telegram channel.
"A two-storey residential building, a garage and a sauna caught fire. As a result of the incident, two people died — the owner of the house and an eyewitness who tried to help," the report said.
As the agency noted, a woman managed to evacuate during the fire.
The fire with an area of 270 square meters, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Chelyabinsk region, was eliminated. According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident was careless handling of fire.
Earlier, on July 8, a fire broke out in a private house in the village of Yasenevo, Nizhny Novgorod region. As a result, a man born in 1996 and a child born in 2018 died.
