A teenager died as a result of being hit by a car in Kargat

As a result of a car collision in the city of Kargat, Novosibirsk region, a 16-year-old girl was killed and another was injured. This was announced on July 13 by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region in the Telegram channel.

"A man born in 1974, driving a Lada Granta <...>, ran over two pedestrians, girls aged 15 and 16, who were crossing the roadway in an unregulated pedestrian crossing area," the department said.

As a result of her injuries, the older victim died in the district hospital 30 minutes later. The second girl suffered a concussion and is receiving medical attention.

A preliminary investigation is being conducted into the incident. The circumstances of the accident are being established.
