Military personnel of the separate repair and restoration battalion of the 25th combined arms army of the Zapad group of forces have restored more than 600 pieces of equipment in the area of the special military operation. This was announced on July 13 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"The division's specialists are working around the clock: they are repairing, restoring and conducting final sea trials of wheeled vehicles coming from the front line. Military personnel literally recreate the vehicles, replace the cabins, repair the undercarriage, and repair damaged components and assemblies," the department said.

In the workshops located in the rear area of the SVO zone, specialists perform welding work, replace damaged elements of the equipment body, and after repair, completely paint the machines.

If engine replacement is required, the soldiers carry out a full diagnostic of the systems, after which they begin sea trials. At the same time, the conditions of the test run-in are as close as possible to the real ones.

"The age group in the company is from 19 to 64 years old. The oldest one turns 65 this year. There are people who are just sick of their work. Take even the tire repair post, Vasily Vitalievich, he's just a fan of his craft," said the commander of the automotive repair company with the call sign Amur.

It is reported that all the necessary parts and tools are always in the warehouses. Military personnel do not experience a shortage of spare parts. In addition, constant interaction has been established with representatives of military equipment manufacturing plants.
