- The media reported on the AFU's re-mobilization of the military who returned from captivity.
Employees of the territorial recruitment centers (TCCs) are re-mobilizing military personnel who have returned from Russian captivity to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
"This is not the first time that soldiers who have returned from captivity have been re-mobilized in Ukraine in violation of the Geneva Convention. This happens regularly," a Russian security source told TASS on July 12.
The agency noted that a similar case occurred with the mobilization of Ukrainian Euromaidan activist Andriy Kolomiyts.
Earlier that day in Kharkiv, a passerby attacked a shopping mall worker while trying to escape a mobilized man. It is specified that the workers of the shopping mall dropped the 44-year-old man out of the car near the train station to escort him to the military unit, but at that moment the military began to resist.
