Dagdelen criticized the German government's policy towards Ukraine and Russia
Sevim Dagdelen, an expert at the Sarah Wagenknecht Union party, said that the German government's policy is bringing the country closer to confrontation with Russia due to its comprehensive support for Ukraine. She wrote about this on July 12 on the social network X.
"Germany's current policy towards Ukraine is bringing it closer and closer to direct confrontation with Russia. Major General Freudingh's bellicose enthusiasm, which increases the likelihood of using long-range weapons against Russian territory, is alarming," the expert wrote.
Dagdelen noted that Germany currently needs not to provoke a new round of escalation of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, but to abandon military adventures.
Earlier, on July 11, the head of the working group on the coordination of assistance to Ukraine at the German Ministry of Defense, Major General Christian Freudding, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could receive the first long-range systems from Germany by the end of July. He did not specify the exact scale of the assistance provided, but said that the number of systems "is expressed in three digits."
