In India, a spiritually minded woman and two children from Russia were rescued from the Gokarna cave by local police. This was reported on July 12 by the Press Trust of India (PTI) agency.
"The police identified the woman as 40-year-old Nina Kutina, nicknamed Mohi, who came from Russia to India on a business visa and reached the sacred coastal city of Gokarna, <...> deeply passionate about Hinduism and Indian spiritual traditions," the agency said in a statement.
PTI noted that two daughters aged four and six were with the woman. The Russians lived in the cave for almost two weeks.
Earlier, on June 13, it was reported about the life of 35-year-old Chinese hermit Min Hengcai in a cave. Min spends the whole day reading, walking, and working on the land.
