Three people were injured in a car collision with a tree in Sovetsk
In the city of Sovetsk, Kaliningrad region, three people were injured in a car collision with a tree. This was announced on July 12 by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region in the Telegram channel.
"At 18:50 (19:50 Moscow time) in Sovetsk on Mayakovsky Street, a driver born in 1993, driving a Volkswagen car, drove off the road in a straight section and hit an obstacle (a roadside tree)," the department said.
It is specified that as a result of the incident, the driver of the car and two minor passengers born in 2017 and 2022 were injured. They were taken to a medical facility for treatment.
Traffic police officers are working at the scene. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated, and an inspection is also underway.
Earlier in the day, five people died in an accident in the Altai Territory. The regional prosecutor instructed to organize an inspection of the incident in order to verify that the participants in the accident were following the rules of the road and to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
