A natural fire broke out in Crimea on an area of 40 hectares
In the Simferopol region of Crimea, there is a natural fire on an area of 40 hectares. This was announced on July 12 in the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the republic.
"The preliminary area is 40 hectares, of which 20 hectares of forest litter and 20 hectares of dry vegetation," the department's Telegram channel says.
340 people and 75 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire, including two helicopters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation and one board of the Russian National Guard. The aircraft carried out 39 water discharges with a total weight of more than 117 tons.
On July 11, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Dagestan reported that rescuers were localizing a landscape fire in the village of Vostochny Sukhokumsk, Nogai district. The total area covered by the fire exceeded 35 hectares. More than 50 specialists, as well as six pieces of equipment, were involved in the localization of the fire.
