In Samara, a tree fell on a tent with vacationers, killing two people. This was announced on July 12 by Mikhail Smirnov, Chairman of the Government of the Samara Region.

"In the Krasnoglinsky district, a hurricane—force wind knocked down a tree, fell on a tent with vacationers, two people were killed," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The chairman of the regional government added that two young men drowned in the Bolshoy Kinel River in the Pokhvistnevsky district of the Samara region.

On July 6, a schoolgirl drowned while swimming in the Amur River in the Khabarovsk Territory, and another girl was rescued. It is specified that the children were unaccompanied at the facility, which was not equipped for swimming.
