Wagenknecht called the participation of Germany in the supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine a new round of escalation.

Germany's financing of the production of weapons that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) can use for attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation is a new level of escalation. This was announced on July 12 by the leader of the German party Sarah Wagenknecht's Union for Reason and Justice, Sarah Wagenknecht.

"These statements are extremely dangerous. The fact that Ukraine can now attack the interior of Russia with weapons funded from Germany is a new level of escalation," Wagenknecht wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

She also stressed that this "dangerous madness" could lead to a full-scale war in Europe.

Earlier, on July 11, the head of the working group on the coordination of assistance to Ukraine at the German Ministry of Defense, Major General Christian Freudding, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could receive the first long-range systems from Germany by the end of July. He did not specify the exact scale of the assistance provided, but said that the number of systems "is expressed in three digits."
