Six people were injured in the collapse of a pedestrian bridge near Vologda
During a religious procession in the Vologda region, a pedestrian bridge collapsed between two settlements in the Nikolsky district, injuring six people. This was announced on July 12 on the website of the regional government.
"At the moment, it is reported about six adults who have been admitted to the emergency department of the central district hospital. There is no threat to the lives of the injured," the report says.
The governor of the region, Georgy Filimonov, said that he had taken the situation under personal control. According to him, all the circumstances of the incident are being clarified, and the victims are receiving the necessary assistance.
On July 1, a partial collapse of a bridge over the Malinovka River occurred in the Dalnerechensk district of Primorsky Krai. After the incident, the passage was carried out in one lane.
