Putin announced the strengthening of international relations thanks to the Silk Road Rally

On July 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a welcome telegram to the participants and organizers of the Silk Road 2025 international Rally, noting the event's contribution to strengthening contacts between Russia and foreign countries.

"Of course, the competitions, which have gained high prestige in recent years, will serve to strengthen friendly and partnership contacts, develop international cultural and humanitarian cooperation, and exchange professional experience in the automotive industry and high—tech developments," the Kremlin said in a telegram on its website.

Putin expressed confidence that athletes from Russia and foreign countries would show team unity, a spirit of victory, camaraderie and mutual assistance during the competition.

On June 9, a festival was held in Moscow in honor of the 15th anniversary of the Silk Road Rally Marathon. Rally enthusiasts could study the technique, as well as try themselves as a pilot, sitting in the cockpit.
