A store security guard injured by a visitor died in St. Petersburg.

The security guard of a store in St. Petersburg, who was stabbed by a visitor, died in hospital. This was reported on July 12 in the Main Investigation Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city.

"The man died in hospital from injuries to his stomach, and the second victim received the necessary medical care," the department's Telegram channel says.

The Investigative Committee added that a criminal case was opened against the detained attacker on the facts of attempted murder of two persons and murder. He's been charged.

The attack took place on July 11 in the village of Pargolovo in St. Petersburg. During the conflict, a man stabbed a chain store security guard.
