Lavrov informed Kim Jong-un about the results of negotiations with the DPRK Foreign Minister

During a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on July 12, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke about the results of talks with his Korean counterpart Choi Song-hee in Wonsan.

"Our talks with Comrade Hee (DPRK Foreign Minister Choi Song-hee. — Ed.) lasted more than three hours, were substantive, specific and very useful," said the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

In addition, Lavrov thanked the head of the DPRK for the opportunity to meet and noted that this encourages the development of the agreements reached on strategic partnership.

In addition, he stressed that the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement concluded with the republic back in 2024 reflects the allied nature.
