Lavrov called the idea of deploying NATO infrastructure in Asia dangerous.

Russia and North Korea consider any attempts to form a NATO military infrastructure in Northeast Asia to be dangerous. This was announced on July 12 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

He noted that the Russian Federation and the DPRK agree on the need to create a reliable security system in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Foreign Minister also stressed that Russia warns the United States, South Korea and Japan against further abuse of their relations for anti-Russian and anti-Korean purposes.
